Arthi Swamy, Council Member.
Ms Arthi Bandhanna Swamy is a dedicated Partner at Patel & Sharma Lawyers, bringing extensive experience in civil litigation, commercial law, and family law. Admitted as a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Fiji in 2010, she earned her Bachelor of Laws (LLB) and Professional Diploma in Legal Practice from the University of the South Pacific.
She began her career at SB Patel & Company, later gaining valuable experience at Gordon & Company in Lautoka. Joining Patel & Sharma in 2011, she advanced to Senior Associate in 2016 and became Partner in June 2020, honing her skills in litigation, advisory work, and dispute resolution.
Deeply committed to Fiji’s legal community, Ms. Swamy has served the Fiji Law Society as Council Member, Secretary, and Chairperson of the Continuing Legal Education Committee. As President of the Fiji Young Lawyers Association, she passionately mentored and supported emerging lawyers.
She also contributes warmly to community life as Legal Adviser to the Nadi Sports & Social Club, where she previously served as Vice President.
