Peter Rigamoto, Treasurer.
Peter R. F. Rigamoto is a senior legal practitioner and current Council Member of the Fiji Law Society. He brings extensive experience in corporate, regulatory and commercial law to the Council’s work in supporting the profession and advancing the rule of law.
He currently serves as Head of Legal and Regulatory Affairs at Digicel Pacific (Fiji Hub), with responsibility across Fiji, Samoa, Tonga, Vanuatu and Nauru. He has previously held senior legal roles within Digicel, including Head of Legal for the Fiji Hub markets, and served as Acting Chief Executive Officer of Digicel Samoa. Earlier in his career he was Head of Legal and External Affairs at British American Tobacco Fiji and gained experience with the Legal Aid Commission.
Mr Rigamoto holds a Bachelor of Laws, a Postgraduate Diploma in Legal Practice, a Professional Diploma in Legislative Drafting and a Master of Laws from the University of the South Pacific, together with a Master of Laws in Global Competition and Consumer Law from the University of Melbourne.
